ABOUT E-FUEL WORLD SUMMIT

As more businesses focus on reducing their environmental footprint, the interest in alternative fuels, eFuels continues to rise. Today, many varieties of eFuels can be used in different applications. The transport sector represents the biggest potential. In the maritime field, heavy fuel oil, which shipping uses almost exclusively at present, can also be replaced by climate-neutral eFuels in future. Instead of relying on conventional kerosene, in future aircraft can be refuelled with climate-neutral eFuels, thus making climate-neutral flight possible….
Universities, research institutes and the industry are intensively working on these climate-neutral fuels and are already successfully producing it in small quantities. Extensive tests have confirmed their market readiness. At the moment, first industrial-scaled plants are built. A market ramp-up must take place now to accelerate the deployment of these promising energy sources.
To develop eFuels it is important to understand all aspects along the whole value chain and most important the political framework. For that reason, we provide sessions for all those key components, in which high-level speakers will give insights about technical developments, target markets and the current political process. Business developers, strategists and engineers will require that information to make their final investment decision.
